I’ve got a farm with lots of woods full of roads and I’d like to map them so we can make sure they are maintained. I’m looking for software that will let me walk/ride along the roads and the unit will record the road and then can be uploaded to a computer and put on a map. I’ve done lots of google searches but haven’t been able to find anything.
I am from Malaysia and just recently purchased a Satio. I was wondering if there are any free gps navigation software which includes the Malaysian map. The phone already has Google Maps preinstalled but unfortunately the software does not provide voice navigation.
Hi. i´m looking for the best GPS software for my n82 but i really don´t know what to choose. While surfing the net i´ve found a lot of software such as google maps, nokia maps, tom tom, route 66, garmin, etc
Has anybody tried to run tom tom or garmin on a n82? does it work?
My mobile is pay and you go so using google maps costs me a fortune. Is there any other GPS software that will just make use of the already installed GPS. I would prefer free software but do not mind paying.
www.thetechstop.net Are you adrift in a sea of digital pictures? — If so, you need to take a look at the Pharos “Trips and Pics” — a GPS ‘geotagging’ system that might be the ultimate in vacation photo collecting. The Pharos Trips & Pics is a self-contained geotagging package complete with GPS receiver, battery and interface software. About the size of two stacked matchboxes, the Trips and Pics is small enough to fit in a shirt pocket and light enough (only .15 lbs) to be hung around your neck. Pharos is known for high-quality GPS devices and the Trips and Pics is no exception. The GPS receiver has an integrated patch antenna, 20 channel tracking and a 24 hour battery. It also has enough memory to log up to 45 days worth of GPS fixes. Trips and Pics is compatible with any digital camera and the software will automatically tag each picture, placing them on your map of choice. — We used it with Google earth and were rewarded with a visual representation not only of our travels, but of the location of each and every single on of our photos. Since it uses the time stamp of the photos and compares them against the time stamp of the GPS receiver log entries, each picture is placed on the map exactly where it was taken. The end result was that we had a fantastically detailed map of our path around the island, and a neatly organized trip photo album. If we wanted to, we could share this album with the world, or just with our friends — This changes the paradigm of the family …
